Roma, April 2008. ENEL has announced the realisation of the first Italian zero-emissions power plant. This ISOTHERM Pwr ® Flameless Oxy- Combustion 48 MW pilot plant is to be built in south Brindisi’s ‘Federico II’ power plant. The project is the result of an agreement between ENEL, ENEA and ITEA for the industrial development of a “zero emissions” system based upon ITEA’s new coal oxy-combustion power generation technology. |
